Snow Front and Hand-made Masks for Easy Sponged Landscapes

Masking 2

Masking
My stamping ladies recently asked me to feature hand-made masks to be used for creating  landscapes at an upcoming class.

This is one of my favorite techniques as it gives you control over the landscape allowing for endless possibilities!

It’s an easy technique using torn copy paper as the masks and sponges for adding color.

These are the two cards I created for the class.

Attendees chose a portrait or landscape orientation.

Similar landscapes with subtle differences!

I thought I’d share the written tutorial I created for the class with those adding their names to my mailing list throughout the month of May, 2021.

The tutorial includes step-by-step instructions with color photos and is in a pdf format.

If you’d like your own copy, please use the Sign-Up Form located in the upper-right-hand corner of this page.

The tutorial will be delivered right to your email inbox about an hour or so after you have added your name to my mailing list.

Please be aware, that the products I used for these cards ( Snow Front, Itty Bitty Greetings stamp sets, and Winter Woods Die) are retiring on May 3, 2021.

Of course, other stamp sets and accessories can be used in their place.

Thank you!

I hope to hear from you soon.
