Country Home and Buffalo Check

Basic Gray Buffalo PlaidCountry Home with Basic Gray and Night of Navy Buffalo Check

Mint Macaron Buffalo PlaidCountry Home with Mint Macaron and Smoky Slate Buffalo Check

Here are two more cards I created using the stamp set Country Home.

(You can see more of my Country Home creations Here)

For these, I paired them with the background stamp, Buffalo Check.

To create the background, I used the Stamparatus to get a good stamped image.

Buffalo Check is a large background stamp, and getting a good inking the first time around can be a challenge.

It's easy though when using the Stamparatus.  Load it up on a plate, ink, stamp, and repeat as necessary.

Then, I added more lines by placing a ruler on the image and drawing lines using Stampin' Write Markers.

I used Night of Navy for the first card, and Smoky Slate for the second.

I cut a square out of the middle of each background using my Big Shot and the Layering Squares Dies.  I matted them with coordinating cardstock, then added them back into the background using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up.

I colored the vase, milk jug and flowers from Country Home using a variety of Stampin' Blends and fussy cut them out using a pair of scissors.

They were added to the card front using Dimensionals to pop them up.

The greeting on the first card is from Blossoms in Bloom.

I added Metallic Pearls to complete.

Country Home

Blue and White Country Home

Blue Milk Jug Country Home
I think I might be late to the table with the stamp set Country Home.

I've had it in my collection for awhile and just recently brought it out to use.

Not sure why the delay, but I must say, it has become one of my favorites.

Better late than never I suppose!

Here are two versions using the tile, milk jug and summer flower images.

The first is a simple blue and white version.  The intent was to color it in, but I really liked the simplicity and decided not to go any further.

The second is the colored version in blues and purples, one of my favorite color combos.

The images were stamped in Night of Navy ink.

I set the tile image up on my Stamparatus, and it was just a matter of moving the plate up a notch to get the perfectly aligned and placed images.

Love my Stamparatus!

I used a variety of Stampin' Blends and Stampin' Write Markers to color in the milk jug and flowers.
