Leaf and Sprig Punches Christmas Wreath

Leaf Punch Fall Wreath

Painted Harvest WreathHappy Fall!

It's easy to celebrate the change in seasons by using the Leaf Punch to create this fall-inspired wreath!

(Inspiration came from Pinterest, but can't remember who.)

Here's how:

  1. Create base for wreath by nesting 2 circle dies on Merry Merlot card stock and cut out using the Big Shot to create a ring.
  2. Punch 10 Merry Merlot and 10 Cajun Craze leaves using the Leaf punch. Cut 5 copper foil leaves using the leaf die from Frosted Frames Dies. Option: emboss the leaves using the Big Shot and Subtle Embossing Folder for added texture.
  3. Apply SNAIL Adhesive on Merry Merlot ring. Attach leaves around the ring, alternating colors.  Slip the leaves in between the leaves using SNAIL Adhesive on the stems.
  4. Brayer Gray Granite and Soft Suede ink on the inside of the Hardwood Embossing Folder. Emboss Crumb Cake card stock, transferring the brayered ink onto the card stock.  Attach to Merry Merlot card base.
  5. Tie a piece of ribbon around the bottom of the wreath. For the sample, I used Crumb Cake Linen ribbon (retired), but you could use current Terra Cotta Scalloped Linen Ribbon and or Copper Trim.  Tie a bow around the ribbon using Linen Thread.
  6. Attach wreath to card front using Mini Dimensionals placed around the ring.
  7. Stamp greeting from Painted Harvest on Very Vanilla card base using Merry Merlot ink. Banner cut the ends using the Hexagon punch.  Sponge Cajun Craze ink along the edges. Curl ends using a pair of scissors. Attach to wreath using Mini Dimensionals.
  8. Attach a Frosted and Clear Epoxy Droplet to the center of the Linen Thread to complete.
