All the Good Things Brusho Background
March 13, 2019
Since I had my Brusho Crystal Colors out after creating these cards HERE, I decided to make an abstract water background and combine it with the small koi fish image found in All the Good Things.
I knew I wanted it to be a birthday card, so I used the greeting from Detailed with Love.
I simply sprinkled Brilliant Blue Brusho Crystals onto my Whisper White card front, then lightly spritzed with water, activating the crystals.
After letting the paper dry for a few minutes, I stamped the greeting in Night of Navy ink using my Stamparatus.
I kept the card front in the Stamparatus, then positioned the fish image where I wanted it. The first fish was stamped in Gorgeous Grape. I inked and stamped it using the Stamparatus several times to get deep colors.
I cleaned the stamp and then placed it in another position on the card front. The second fish was stamped in Calypso Coral.
I repeated the steps using Granny Apple Green and Night of Navy inks.
Somewhere along the way, I got a few smudges of Granny Apple Green, but I liked it, so I wasn't too worried about it!
I mounted the card front to a Night of Navy card base and added some blue Glimmer Dots from my stash to complete.
