Create quick and easy Christmas cards using the Merry Christmas Thinlits Dies found in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog.
For this card, I cut the "Merry" and Christmas" out of Dashing Along Designer Series Paper that had been applied to a piece of adhesive sheet. Then, I cut them out using the Big Shot and Merry Christmas Thinlits dies.
Tip: To make it easy to release the paper from the dies, use the Precision Base Plate as part of your Big Shot Sandwich: cutting platform, Precision Base Plate, paper, dies, upper cutting plate.
After removing the paper from the dies, I peeled off the backing on the adhesive sheet, and applied it to a piece wood texture Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper.
I really like the combination of Cherry Cobbler in the greeting with the Gray Granite wood texture of the Designer Series Paper.
I attached the card front to a Cherry Cobbler mat, then to a Gray Granite card base.
I added enamel dots to complete.
Paper: Gray Granite, Cherry Cobbler, Dashing Along and Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper
