Stencils! Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper
June 08, 2018
Here are two more cards that I created using pieces of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper as stencils.
For this card, I trimmed the trellis design from the 12"x12 sheet of Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Paper and secured it to a piece of Shimmery White card stock using washi tape from my stash.
With 2 foam brayers, I added Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive inks overs the stencil.
Once the stencil is removed, I was left with a pretty, shimmery trellis background.
I cut the solid dragonfly using the Big Shot and Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Die out of one of the small cards in the Delightfully Detailed Memories and More Card Pack.
I then cut the detailed dragonfly out of another design found in the Memories and More Card Pack.
The solid dragonfly was attached to the card front using SNAIL Adhesive, and the detailed dragonfly was attached with a Mini Glue Dot to pop it up.
The greeting is a sticker from the Memories and More Card Pack.
Supplies Used:
Ink: Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green, and Old Olive
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Shimmery White, Delightfully Detailed Note Cards and Envelopes
Accessories: sponge brayer, washi tape, Big Shot, Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies, Mini Dimensionals
For this card, I trimmed the leaf design from the laser-cut paper and secured it to a piece of Whisper White card stock using washi tape.
Using sponge daubers, I added Granny Apple Green and Old Olive ink.
I punched 2 daisies out of a piece from the Memories and More Card Pack, and offset one on top of the other using a Mini Dimensional in between.
I dyed a piece of 5/8" Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle ribbon using a spritzer bottle filled with water mixed with a few drops of Rich Razzleberry ink refill.
Once the ribbon was dry, I attached it to the stencil card front, then layered it to a Rich Razzleberry mat.
I added the daisy using a Mini Dimensional to pop it up.
I cut the center of the flower out of Rich Razzleberry card stock using a 3/4" circle punch. I glued it to the center of the daisy, then added a Faceted Dot to complete.
