We have a spring-themed color challenge this week over at the Nacho Average site: Hello Honey, Bermuda Bay and Strawberry Slush.
Here is my contribution:
This color combination reminded me of a field of poppies on a warm spring day! So, I created my own little spring-themed watercolor landscape. I first stamped the image from Pleasant Poppies onto watercolor paper using white craft ink. I then heat embossed the image using white embossing powder. Now for the fun part! I watercolored the poppies and background using the challenge colors, picking up each color from my stamp pads with an Aqua Painter. Once the watercolor paper dried completely, I stamped the greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes using Strawberry Slush ink.
Be sure to check out each of the Design Team's entries to the challenge and leave a comment if you can. It means a lot to all of us! We'd also love for you to play along with the weekly challenges. A Linky Tool has been added so you can upload your creation to the Nacho Design Team site.
