Our color challenge over at the Nacho Average site this week is Blushing Bride, Very Vanilla and Basic Black.
Here's my contribution:
Honestly, Blushing Bride is not a color I have in my paper stash. I don't mind it. I just don't ever find a use for it. (The color reminds me of Calamine lotion-remember that as a kid?) So, I was kind of worried when I saw this color challenge. Then I remembered I have a pack of the Subtles Core'dinations paper which includes Blushing Bride! So, that is what I used. I didn't sand it to make it looked distressed because I liked just the simple texture. In the end, I really like this color combo. The flower image is from Petal Parade, one of this year's Sale-A-Bration choices.
Be sure to check out each of the Design Team's entry to the challenge and leave a comment if you can. It means a lot to all of us! We'd also love for you to play along with the weekly challenges. A Linky Tool has been added so you can upload your creation to the Nacho Design Team site.
