We have a really pretty color challenge this week over at the Nacho Average challenge site.
It's Christmas card making season, so I'm making cards using the colors and sketches from the Nacho challenges. These are non-traditional Christmas colors, but I really like them.
Here's my contribution:
For this one, I used the poinsettia image from the stamp set Joyful Christmas. I stamped it using Versamark on vellum card stock, then heat embossed it with Pool Party embossing powder. I cut it out using a pair of scissors (sorry, no punch or die for this one), then colored the image using my Calypso Coral marker. The pearls were colored with my Island Indigo marker, then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The greeting is also from the Joyful Christmas set and was simply stamped using Island Indigo ink. This one really pops in person!Be sure to check out each of the Design Team's entry to the challenge and leave a comment if you can. It means a lot to all of us! We'd also love for you to play along with the weekly challenges. A Linky Tool has been added so you can upload your creation to the Nacho Design Team site.
