Masking/Painter's Tape "Love"- Nacho Average Challenge #54
September 2013 Class in an Instant-Quick and Stylish Holiday Cards

Bird on a Branch-"Silhouette" CASology Challenge

"Silhouette" is our cue word this week over at the CASology Challenge site.

Here's my contribution:

Bird on a Branch 010

For this card, I used one of my all-time favorite stamp sets, Bird on a Branch.  Perfect for a silhouette image!

I created a simple background by coloring an acrylic block with markers. Colors I used were Not Quite Navy and Regal Rose.  I just scribbled the color right onto the block,

Bird on a Branch 005

turned it over, "huffed" on it to help moisten up the ink, and then stamped.

Bird on a Branch 007

A quick and easy and to the point background!

Bird on a Branch 009

Stampin' Up! Supplies Used:

Stamp Set: Bird on a Branch

Ink: Black Stazon, Not Quite Navy, Regal Rose markers

Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black

Accessories: clear acrylic block "H", Stamp a ma Jig

Happy Stampin'!
