We have a spring-inspired color challenge this week over at the Nacho Average challenge site.
Pretty in Pink, Summer Starfruit and Primrose Petals
Here's my contribution:
For this card, I used Stampin' Up!'s Primrose Petals Core'dinations paper. The Core'dinations paper is my new all-time favorite product from Stampin' Up! The paper is sandable card stock! Run the paper through an embossing folder and the Big Shot, then sand using the Stampin' Sanding Block. The upper layer of the card stock will sand away where it has been embossed, leaving a cool distressed monochromatic color. Each embossing folder will give you a different look.
I cut a flower out of the Primrose Petals Core'dinations paper using the Floral Frames Framelits, then embossed using my Petals a Plenty embossing folder.
The patterned paper is from Print Poetry Designer Series Paper and is perfect for our color challenge. The center flowers are from the Sale-A-Bration set Madison Avenue. The greeting is from Sincere Salutations (retired, but my all-time favorite greeting set) stamped using Primrose Petals ink on the Summer Starfruit card base.
Be sure to check out each of the Design Team's entry to the challenge and leave a comment if you can. It means a lot to all of us! We'd also love for you to play along with the weekly challenges. A Linky Tool has been added so you can upload your creation to the Nacho Design Team site.
