Faux Flocking-Lovely as a Tree

I am very honored to be a member of the Splitcoaststampers Creative Crew

This is my contribution for our Color Focus challenge of Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals, Pretty in Pink, Very Vanilla and Sahara Sand.  I used the Faux Flocking Technique.

Faux Flocking 007

Faux Flocking:  Use a cutting tool to distress the edges of scrap pieces of card stock.  For this card, colors used were Raspberry Ripple, Primrose Petals and Pretty in Pink.

Flocked Tree 010

Once you have a good sized pile of flocking, apply Crystal Effects or other glue to stamped image. For this card, the tree was stamped on Very Vanilla card stock using Sahara Sand ink.

Flocked Tree 017

Using a pair of tweezers, apply the pieces of flocking to the glue. Set aside to dry completely.
