Squares is our challenge this week over at One Layer Wednesday.
Here's my contribution:
I created this card using My Digital Studio. Stamp sets are Winter Post, Vintage Overlays, and Curly Cute.
I printed it out on white card stock and trimmed it down to a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" square card. Then came the hard part. The first couple of tries on this card I used my paper piercing tool, template and mat to pierce small holes to border the images, then used a Cherry Cobbler marker to connect the holes for the faux stitching technique. But, I didn't like the way it looked. So, I ended up using a ruler and the Cherry Cobbler marker to draw the compartments. This involved some measuring so I would actually end up with squares and my lines would be straight :)
