Spots Swipe Background Circle Sayings
It’s that time of the year again when Stampin’ Up! releases the list of retiring stamp sets, papers, and accessories.
It’s always a bittersweet time of the year as some of our favorite stamp sets will be leaving to make room for new sets in the upcoming 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

Over the month, I will be sharing creations using some of my favorite retiring stamp sets.
Lastly, is Circle Sayings.
The Circle Sayings Stamp Set includes cute sentiments and images that everyone will love! This set comes with friendly greetings, multiple borders, and large images that can be used as focal points.
I paired the Circle Sayings with an easy background using Stampin’ Spots.
If you are a Paper Pumpkin subscriber, you probably have several of these Spots in various colors as they come with each new kit.
Or, you can purchase a set of 3 uninked Spots and add your own color.
They are good for spot stamping. Or for creating a Spot Swipe Background like I did for this card.

Spots Swipe Background Circle Sayings How To:
1. Stamp circle greeting from Circle Sayings on Basic White card stock using Night of Navy ink. Punch or die-cut. I used my 2 3/8″ circle punch. Securely attach the punched circle to Basic White card front. Swipe Stampin’ Spots along the card front and circle I used Night of Navy, Lost Lagoon, Coastal Cabana, and Pool Party Stampin’ Spots.
2.Stamp greeting in the center using Night of Navy ink.
3. Stamp seashells on scrap Basic White card stock using Night of Navy ink. Color using Stampin’ Write Markers or Stampin’ Blends. Fussy cut using scissors.
4. Make a ring for the circle: punch 2 3/8″ circle out of Night of Navy card stock. Position 2 1/2″ punch around the opening and punch. You now have a ring. Attach to circle using a small amount of Liquid Glue.
5. Attach card front to Night of Navy mat. Attach to Basic White card base. Stamp greeting using Night of Navy ink.
6.Attach seashells using Mini Dimensionals to pop them up. Add Cork Rounds to complete.
The possibilities are endless!
