Delicate Forest Grid Sheet Background

One of my Wetmore Stamping Ladies purchased the Delicate Forest Bundle and wanted me to use it in our February stamping class.

Since I wasn’t planning on purchasing the bundle, she lent it to me before the class so I could make a card we would create in class.

This is something that I’ve done several times in the past for stamp sets that I wasn’t going to purchase for myself.

It allows me to play with the sets while not adding them to my collection.

Here is one of the cards I made while getting a feel for the stamp set and dies.

It’s an easy five-minute, masculine-themed card, pairing a piece of grid sheet paper with Pebbled Path (In Color) cardstock and Tartan Foils Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive).

I’m always looking for ways to upcycle the paper and other supplies  I use in my crafting.

The grid sheet paper is such an integral part of my crafting as I use it as cover worksheets for me as well as in classes.

I use a sheet over and over again until it’s covered with sample stampings.

Then, it’s time to throw it away.

But I cut off an unused section of a sheet for this card.

Delicate Forest Grid Sheet Background How-To:

  1. Die-cut leaves from Delicate Forest Dies out of Smoky Slate and Basic Black card stock.
  2. Stamp leaves from Delicate Forest on a piece of grid sheet paper using Pebbled Path ink.  Stamp greeting from Pansy Patch using Memento Black ink. Attach to Pebbled Path mat.
  3. Attach a strip of Pebbled Path card stock to the Tartan Foil card front.  Attach to a Pebbled Path card base.
  4. Attach matted grid sheet paper to the card front.  Attach leaves.  Tie a bow out of Baker’s Twine (from my stash) and add Black Matte Dots to complete.

Upcycle!

The possibilities are endless!
