May 2021 Sketch Challenge
Sometimes it helps to have a jumping off point with your crafting, and a sketch challenge is a perfect way to start!
Use the sketch as a blueprint for your own creations.
I will be sharing sketch challenges every so often.
I hope they provide inspiration, and you’ll share your creations with me!
Here’s my take on the challenge:
For this card, I used Wrapped Bouquet stamp set and the coordinating Flower Bouquet Dies.
Both of these items are currently found in the January-June Mini Catalog and will be available through June 30, 2021.
I really like the wrapped newspaper images and dies, along with the choices of 2 bouquets of flowers.
Change up the colors, and they are perfect for year-round occasions.
For this card, I stamped the newspaper print using Evening Evergreen ink, one of the new 2021-2023 In Colors.
The bouquet of flowers was stamped using another new In Color, Soft Succulent, then colored using a variety of Stampin’ Write Markers.
The leaves are cut out of Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, and Soft Sea Foam card stock.
I added 2021-2022 In Color Jewels to the centers of the flowers, and added a bow out of baker’s twine from my stash.
