Woodland Embossing Folder Watercolor Background

IMG_5888

It's easy to create watercolor backgrounds using the Big Shot and Woodland Textured Embossing Folder.

This is the card I created after creating this 3D Woodland embossed card found HERE.

To create the background for this card, I simply spritzed the inside of the embossing folder with water like I was cleaning the ink from the inside.

The ink pooled and began to run.   I inserted a piece of Whisper White card stock and ran it through the Big Shot.

Now the colors are behind the embossed image.

To fill in the spaces, I stamped the small leaf image from Sheltering Tree using Crushed Curry and Tangerine Tango inks.  I colored in the lines on the bark using my Early Espresso marker.

So, before you clean up, try creating another card.  The look will be slightly different than the original!
