Many of the bee-friendly plants in our garden have come up and are already in bloom.
This is great news for our bees!
In celebration, I created this quick and easy card using the bee image found in the stamp set Dragonfly Dreams.
The bee is a 2-step stamp image.
Two-step stamping allows you to combine individual stamps to build the final image you want in the colors you want.
First, I stamped the solid image of the bee repeatedly onto my Crumb Cake card front using Crushed Curry ink.
Then, I over stamped the solid image using Chocolate Chip ink.
The stamp set is photopolymer so lining up the images is very easy.
I did the same on a piece of Whisper White card stock. I punched out the image using my 1 3/4" circle punch and then matted it onto a 2" Crushed Curry circle.
The greeting is from the all-occasion set Teeny Tiny Wishes, one of my all-time favorite greeting sets.
Here is a photo of the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set so you can see the 2-step images for the bee as well as for the dragonfly.
Stampin' Up! also offers Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits to coordinate with the stamp set.
Use the thinlits and your Big Shot to cut out images for added dimension!
