The theme for this week's One Layer Wednesday is "While we are on the subject". The challenge is to create a card featuring your favorite school subject.
Here's my contribution:
Well, I'm not sure writing was my favorite school subject, but this challenge was a great way to use my small background stamp called School Lines. This stamp reminds me of the Big Chief writing tablets. Do you remember using those in grade school? I do. Paper with widely spaced lines to help you practice, practice, practice writing the ABC's. Big Chief tablets are no longer available, but for me, they bring back memories of a simpler time.
This was a fairly easy card to make using the making technique. I masked the stem and flower images, then stamped the writing paper image over them. I removed the stem mask and stamped using Lucky Limeade ink. Then I removed the flower mask and stamped using Raspberry Ripple ink.
Stamp Set: School Lines, Fabulous Florets, Kind Thanks
