Simplicity! This is a great website with challenges featuring one layer projects. One layer? Oh my...
This is not as easy as you'd think. It definitely takes some getting used to. No layers, no extra embellishing. It takes on a different mindset when crafting.
This week's challenge was entitled "On the Edge." The goal was to stamp right along the edge, but not off the paper. Any of the 4 sides were fair game. I had to give it a try!
Quite awhile back, I purchased a My Digital Studio download called "My Friend." I really liked the line image called "rain" in the set. I liked the simplicity of the design and could see that if it was printed on paper in black, the rain drops could then be colored in, adding a pop of color. I just hadn't given it a try until this challenge.
The card was designed in My Digital Studio and then printed out on glossy white card stock. I then colored in the rain drops with various markers. A quick and simple hybrid My Digital Studio card!
