A new week means a new sketch challenge over at Stamping 411.
Here is my take on the sketch.
This card was inspired by a dove setting in a nest on top of a porch light located in the courtyard and by a side entry door at the house of a friend of mine. I stayed at this house over the weekend while I was in NM for my stamp clubs. The dove was visible from inside the house, so I snapped this quick photo. I am told that this is her 2nd nest in the same location this year. She successfully raised 2 chicks and is currently setting on 1 egg. My first thought was the porch light being turned on in error and the nest being in jeopardy of a fire. My friend has wisely removed the light bulb! Best wishes for this mama dove!
