Iris Folded Kiss
Iris Folding is one of my all-time favorite paper-crafting techniques. And it is SO easy to do.
Send this "You're So Sweet" card to your Valentine or as a "thinking of you" or "thank you" to someone special in your life.
Another Option: Change the paper to shades of reds and pinks to make it a more traditional Valentine's or use solid Silver Glimmer Paper as I did with this sample.
Quilted Everyday Enchantment Hearts
I love, love, love the new Hearts Collection Framelits dies found in the Occasions Mini Catalog.
For this card, I used the 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" Heart Framelit to cut out 4 hearts. Then I cut them in half and mixed and matched them to create a folk-art 4 heart pattern. For the quilted look, I then ran the piece through my Big Shot using the Finial Press Embossing Folder. You could easily add "stitches" using a white gel pen or other marker.
Don't throw out the stencil pieces that are left over from cutting out the hearts. Use them for another project like I did with this one. I just added some scrap paper behind each stencil before adding them to the Lucky Limeade matting.
Everyday Enchantment Thank You
This quick and easy card was created using the Fresh Vintage stamp set and coordinating Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper found in the new Sale-A-Bration catalog. I love the colors in this paper!
