Welcome to the SUDSOL Blog Tour!
I am very excited to be participating in today's SUDSOL Blog Tour.
SUDSOL (Simply Unique Demonstrators Sharing On Line) is an online community of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators dedicated to providing creative and professional information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to all demonstrators regardless of location and regardless of the support they are getting elsewhere. Members have access to an extensive samples gallery, video tutorials, patterns, templates business articles and forms. They also enjoy the camaraderie from the most talented and supportive group of paper-crafters anywhere!
I have been a member of SUDSOL for 4 years, and I am currently serving as the SUDSOL Outline Coordinator. This means that members send me photos and instructions for classes or workshops they have created. I then upload it to the SUDSOL site to share with all members. This is an invaluable resource for Stampin' Up! demonstrators to use when looking for ideas and inspiration as they plan for their upcoming classes or workshops.
If you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and not already of member of SUDSOL, please take a look here and take advantage of the FREE two-week trial.
Now on with the Tour!
Reflections of Fall Faux Postage
This faux postage card was inspired by the fall colors in my new home located in the Wet Mountains of Southern Colorado. Fall is my favorite time of year, and I've enjoyed watching the changing colors on the aspens, oaks and other foliage in my own back yard!
Stamp Sets: Autumn Days, Days of Gratitude, Silhouette Sentiments
Ink: Early Espresso, More Mustard, Old Olive, Cajun Craze
Paper: Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla
Accessories: faux postage template and mask, postage scissors (non SU!), metallic brads, paper piercing tool and mat
Iris Folded Christmas Ornament
Iris Folding is one of my all-time favorite techniques. It looks complicated, but is actually very simple.
Stamp Set: Cute by the Inch, Sweet Sayings, For the Holidays
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Big Shot, Finial Press Embossing Folder, Iris Folding pattern, Circle Scissors Plus, SNAIL Adhesive, Sticky Strip, bone folder, painter's tape, 1 1/4" square punch, Circle Ice Rhinestone, paper piercing tool and mat
Greenhouse Gala Snowflakes
I used non-traditional Christmas colors for this card. The greeting could easily be changed, making it a Thank You, Happy Birthday or even a Happy New Year's Day card!
Stamp Set: All Holidays
Ink: Marina Mist

Accessories: Big Shot, Distressed Texturz Plate, Impressions and Silicone Rubber pads, Snowflake, Eyelet Border and 3/16" Corner punches, Marina Mist 1/8" Taffeta ribbon, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals, hemp twine and various buttons
