This card was created by Denise Case. She used the Sale-A-Bration stamp set "Merci". She sponged ink onto glossy card stock, mixing it up as she went. The flower in the center was colored with watercolor crayons.
This card was created by Denise Carlson using her infamous "Batik" method!. Love the color combination.
Carolyn, our Sunday Stamp Club hostess, asked that our May swap cards be donated to Soldiers' Angels. "Soldiers' Angles is a not-for-profit, non-denominational and non-political organization recognized by the Congress of the United States. The goal of Soldier's Angles is to care for every soldier, one at a time. It is a wonderful way to stop feeling helpless and wondering exactly what you can do, as a person to support our troops. Soldiers' Angels are given the names of soldiers. The soldiers agree to be part of the program. The names come form the military chaplains who know which soldier is not getting ANY mail or packages. The idea for this card came from the latest edition of Paper crafts Magazine. I did an Internet search, and found this photo. I saved it to my computer, cropped it and added the sentiment. I then printed it out on regular computer paper. The file for the photo is attached for your use:

To make the stars, I punched them out in Real Red using the Stampin' Up! large star punch. I applied heat and stick and then added Dazzling Diamonds for a little sparkle. You can't tell in the photo, but I did the Faux Linen background on the Night of Navy card.
Last but not least, here are the cards created by Beth Miller and Shelley Rael.
Beth also used the Lovely Lilac designer paper and lots of silver embossing powder for the greeting. She laughed when telling us that she had silver embossing powder all over everything, even her dog! Great job Beth.
Shelley used my favorite two-step stamping set, Heartfelt Thanks. I also love the Porcelain Prints designer paper with the coordinating River Rock and Blue Bayou paper. And I bet she set the tan eyelets with her Crop A Dile. Yay Shelley!
This card was created by Susan Burson. She used the retired Cerise designer paper for the background and to punch the flowers out. To add a touch of elegance, she added a gold embossed frame around the flowers and the background.
This card was created by Sandra Goff. For the longest time, Sandra didn't want to participate in the swaps because she didn't think her cards measured up. Well, I don't think she has to worry about that, do you? I love the way she used the dust swirl from the Bronc Buster stamp set for the background. The ribbon lacing adds the perfect final touch!
I knew my Saturday Stamp Club members would take the sketch challenge head on for our "congratulations" themed swap cards! Here is the sketch:
And here is the card created by Judy Burkhalter. She made one for a baby girl and one for a baby boy. Judy stamped the sentiment directly onto vellum card stock. She used Pretty in Pink and Lovely Lilac polka dot designer paper. And she used acrylic paint to add the coordinating white dots on the vellum. Too cute!
My Saturday Stamp Club did such a great job with last month's swap card challenge, that I decided to give them another one for May. Here is the sketch they were to use as a guideline for their design:

Here is my swap card. The swap theme was "congratulations". I used Wanted for the medallion and Bursting with Joy for the greeting. I also used my new favorite designer paper, Western Skies. I can't wait to see what the others have created! Stay tuned....
Stampin' Up!'s Western Sky designer paper is my new favorite! I love the colors: Blue Bayou, Soft Sky, River Rock (In Colors) and Ruby Red.
Father's Day is around the corner, and here is a very easy, but cute Father's Day card idea.
Stamps: For Father
Ink: Classic Stampin' pads Chocolate Chip, Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa, Blue Bayou and Basic Gray. Stazon pad Jet Black.
Paper: Ruby Red (2 5/8" x 3/8"), Chocolate Chip and Blue Bayou card stock and watercolor paper (2 7/8" x 2 5/8")
Accessories: 1/6" circle punch, Aqua Painters, silver brads and Stampin' Dimensionals
1. Stamp image in Jet Black Stazon ink on watercolor paper. Color image using Aqua Painter and Basic Gray, Blue Bayou, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa and Ruby Red ink. Distress edges of watercolor paper.
2. Stamp greeting in Chocolate Chip ink on Ruby Red card stock. Attach to watercolor paper with Stampin' Dimensionals.
3. Punch three circles on Chocolate Chip card stock (3 1/4" x 2 7/8"). Attach silver brads. Adhere watercolor paper to Chocolate Chip card stock. Adhere to card.
Here's another cute frog made with Stampin' Up! punches. I thought it would be really cute to add googly eyes. But, I couldn't find them anywhere in my craft studio! Instead, I found my stash of Dress it Up buttons, so I added a leaf button to the lily pad.
Joyce, our hostess for the Saturday Stamp Club, asked that we make frogs out of various sized punches.
Can you name the punches used to make this cute couple?
They are, in no particular order: large and small oval punches, 1 3/8", 1 1/4", 1", 3/4" and 1/4" circle punches, round tab and retired flower punch. The large Handsome Hunter circle was cut using the Coluzzle Cutting System.
The jumbo paper clips can be purchased as any office supply store. They come in packs of 5 for about $1.99.
